In 2008 the American Nurses Association House of Delegates passed this resolution that acknowledges the significant challenge that global climate change poses, urges nurses and ANA member associations to advocate for change on individual and policy levels, and supports initiatives by the healthcare industry to decrease its contribution to global warming.
